Mardi 29 Janvier, tous les élèves de sixièmes se sont rendus à Lyon afin d’assister à la représentation de « Knights Of The Round Table », deuxième acte d’une trilogie (menée par la compagnie Théâtre en anglais) qui réécrit avec humour et légèreté le mythe du Roi Arthur. Les élèves ont pu apprécier un moment interactif et amusant au cours duquel ils ont dû se confronter à l’écoute et la compréhension d’une langue étrangère. Ils ont ainsi rencontré le Roi Arthur et Kay (son fidèle ami) et les ont suivi dans leurs aventures face à la terrible Morgane, demi-sœur d’Arthur, bien décidée à s’emparer d’un siège à la Table Ronde, voire du Trône. Avant le spectacle, les élèves ont été préparés à intervenir au cours de la pièce et après la représentation, ils ont pu poser des questions aux quatre comédiens. Sur le chemin du retour, les élèves ont été accueilli au collège Jean-Philippe Rameau, où ils ont pu prendre un repas chaud avant de rentrer au collège. 

On Tuesday 29th, the “sixièmes” all went to Lyon to watch a play. The play, entitled “Knights of the round Table”, revisits the myth of King Arthur adopting a humorous and light tone. It is the second part of three plays that are the product of the “Théâtre en anglais” company. The students enjoyed an interactive and funny moment where they had to do with listening and understanding a foreign language. They met King Arthur and Kay (his faithful friend) and went along with them on their adventures against the terrible Morgan, Arthur’s half-sister. She is determined to take a spot around the Round Table or even the throne itself ! Before the play, the students were prepared to interact during the performance. After the representation they were allowed to ask all the questions they had to the four comedians that answered them. On the way back, the students were hosted at the “Jean-Philippe Rameau” secondary school where they enjoyed a hot meal before getting back to Thizy.
