Family

In this film there are two families . There is Everett’s family and Pete’s family . In Everett’s family there are the husband and his wife but they are divorced and at the end of the film Everett and Penny get married again , they have seven daughters . Everett and Penny don’t get on well . Penny is demanding with Everett .
In Pete’s family there is Pete’s cousin who has one son . Everett’s daughters think their dad is dead because their mother said so . Pete’s cousin was robbed by Pete and his friends . Pete and his friends were betrayed by Pete’s cousin.

In this film, there are two families.
Penny and Everett are divorced ; she has found a new fiancé (Vernon). He has learned it to this daughter.
Ulysse being in the penitenciary, Penny, of shame, persuaded her children that their father died.
Everett says : « I am the pater familias ». And he speaks of amor fidelis. His daughters still consider him as pater familias.
The cousins of Pete betrayed them but Pete forgives them.
The road movie show a negative aspect of families : betrayal and unfaithfulness.
